Entry restrictions (general guidance)
Please note: entry restrictions and requirements can change rapidly, so check the latest information before planning your trip.
1) Visa requirements
Most visitors to Angola require a visa. Review current requirements and apply in advance when needed: Angola visa requirements.
If you intend to work, study, or stay long-term, confirm the correct visa category before travel.
2) Health checks, testing & quarantine (if applicable)
Angola may require health screening at entry and may apply testing or other health measures depending on the current public-health situation. Always check official travel advice sources close to departure.
3) Travel restrictions by origin / recent travel history
Restrictions can vary by country of origin or recent travel history. Airlines may enforce documentation rules before boarding.
4) FRV / Advance Passenger Information form
Some travelers may be required to complete an Advance Passenger Information form (often called the FRV form) before entry. Use the official portal/instructions provided for your itinerary: Angola travel registration form guidance.
Regular entry requirements
For most trips you must travel with the correct visa and documentation. If you arrive without the proper documents, you can be refused entry. Start here: Angola visa.
A common rule is that your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry. Confirm the latest validity rule for your nationality and visa type.
